Delete Your Account

Whubble — family organiser app (Philip Law, trading as Whubble)

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest way, and works if you still have Whubble installed:

  1. Open Whubble and sign in.
  2. Go to your Profile (tap your avatar at the top of the Dashboard).
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm on the dialog that appears. If you signed in a while ago, Whubble may ask you to sign in again first — this is a Firebase security requirement for account deletion, not an extra step we've added.

Deletion happens immediately once confirmed.

Option 2 — no longer have the app installed?

Email [email protected] from the email address on your Whubble account, with the subject line Delete my account. We'll verify it's you and delete your account and associated data manually. We aim to complete these requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

DeletedYour account record and sign-in credentials; your member profile within your family; your real-time location entry.
KeptContent you contributed to shared family data — a grocery item you added, a chore you created, a calendar event, a budget transaction you logged — may remain visible to your former family, in the same way it would if you left any shared household tool. This is jointly-owned family data, not solely yours.
RetentionDeleted data is removed from Whubble's active database immediately on account deletion. Backups and infrastructure logs held by our service providers (Google Firebase / Google Cloud) may persist for a short period afterward before being purged, per their own standard retention cycles — Whubble does not separately retain a copy once your account is deleted.

If you'd like specific shared content removed beyond what account deletion covers, include that in your email to [email protected] and we'll help directly.
